Trianco, the leading manufacturer of central heating products entered into administration back in July with a reported loss of 43 jobs. With seemingly popular products within their portfolio (including the Trianco Aztec electric boiler, the timeless Trianco TRG solid fuel boiler, a wide range of Trianco oil fired boilers and a growing collection of renewable products) there was a real sense of shock at the news.

However, it is our understanding that Trianco and their products will rise again this time under a new company, TR Engineering, backed by the Mountcity Group. There have been quite a few rumours flying around the industry suggesting that only the Trianco solid fuel range would be retained. It now appears that the entire range of products will be continued possibly using the same pricing structure.

Trianco are near neighbours of ours (they are located just down the road from us in Chapeltown, Sheffield) and we have been dealing with Trianco for decades.

There are two types of Trianco Aztec boiler, the Aztec Classic and Aztec Gold. The Aztec Classic is a wall mounted model available in 5 outputs ranging from 2kw to 12kw. The Aztec is a versatile central heating boiler designed to be suitable for just about any application in any type of property. Once switched on, the Aztec is fully controlled by a solid state management system, which automatically monitors its safety and running functions. The Aztec is ideal for applications where gas or oil are not available. It is also feasible to use the Aztec independent of an existing boiler, perhaps for use in a home extension such as a  conservatory or playroom – I intend to use an electric boiler in a basement conversion to power underfloor heating. The Trianco Aztec can be linked to provide larger heat outputs if required.  The larger sized boilers are also fan assisted, cooling down the PCB to give optimum performance. Temperature output varies from 50°C to 75°C to supply all forms of heating from underfloor systems to conventional radiators.
